We offer a refined example of excellent Italian modernism: a low bottle rack from the
famous "Alveo" series, conceived by the creative genius of Willy Rizzo and produced by Mario Sabot in the 1970s.
This piece perfectly embodies the Hollywood Regency style, presenting itself as a pure and
rigorous volume, a closed solid that serves as a sculptural element within the space. The structure is made
of wood with a fine glossy black lacquer finish with a mirrored effect, defined at the edges by the iconic
chrome-plated steel corner profiles, a distinctive signature of Rizzo's production.
The uniqueness of this version lies in its hidden functionality: the upper shelf opens with a
mechanism that lifts the doors from the bottom upwards, revealing a bar compartment ideal for
storing bottles and glasses. Despite its imposing appearance, the cabinet maintains fluid mobility
thanks to the retractable casters integrated into the base.
