Elegant and architecturally refined coffee table model 748 designed by Ico Parisi and produced by Figli di Amedeo Cassina, Meda, in 1960.
This model belongs to the celebrated 869 series and exemplifies Parisi’s mastery of sculptural yet functional design. The table features a sophisticated interlocking solid wood structure, where the top is visually separated from the legs by two horizontal slats. The legs are octagonal in section and finely carved at the upper joint, allowing them to slot seamlessly into the horizontal supports. This distinctive construction detail creates a sense of lightness while maintaining structural integrity.
Crafted in solid wood, its clean lines and refined joinery make it a timeless piece, equally suitable for modern, mid-century, or contemporary interiors.
