Rare and sculptural, this chaise longue designed by Ico Parisi and created by Ariberto Colombo in the 1950s represents one of the most significant examples of postwar Italian organic design.
The wooden structure, with its fluid and dynamic lines, reveals a design tension typical of Parisi: a perfect balance between architectural rigor and sensuality of form. The elegant and enveloping seat seems to emerge from a single sculptural gesture, blending comfort and aesthetic research with a masterful construction reminiscent of Lombard craftsmanship.
The original fabric upholstery retains its patina, with some visible stains suggesting a light cleaning or restoration, fully respecting the piece's authenticity.
