Product description
Handmade ceramic replica of a “house with birds on the roof”, purchased at an art market in Germany for (at the time) 2,300 German Marks. The original “house” is made of bronze and dates from the Han Dynasty in China. Variants have been exhibited at art fairs such as TEFAF. It is a type of miniature architecture that was often placed in tombs for use in the afterlife by the deceased.
