Franco & Fils is a French company based in Pougues les Eaux (Nièvre) that has developed unique expertise in the design and manufacture of medical equipment and is considered the inventor of the first height-adjustable physiotherapy table. After breaking his leg during a rather "committed" soccer match, Marcel Franco was confronted with the medical equipment of the time during his rehabilitation. An ingenious all-rounder, he began manufacturing medical and paramedical equipment for professional use. The Franco et Fils company was born. "Quality through efficiency" became and remained the company's motto. With the help of practitioners, the first range of mechanotherapy equipment and bicycles was developed under the brand name M.F. in 1960.
