Herend Queen Victoria Vase with Handles on a Foot - 24-karat gold accents.
The vase is handmade and hand-painted porcelain from Hungary.
It features the iconic "Queen Victoria" (VBO) pattern, which depicts vibrant, multicolored floral motifs and butterflies.
This pattern consists of nearly one hundred types of stylized butterflies and blossoms, painted in cheerful and vibrant colors. The combination of red, blue, purple, yellow, and green butterflies, flowers, and sprigs creates a parade against the greenery of a meadow.
The Victoria design was unveiled at the 1851 World's Fair in London, where it was a resounding success. The recognition resulted not only in a gold medal from the judges but also in a commission from the person who gave her name to the pattern.
Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom commissioned a tableware set in the pattern for Windsor Castle.
The vase is finished with 24-karat gold accents.
