Rare large and exclusive desk lamp from Herda, in a super vintage condition. Made of high-quality brass and straight from the 1970s. The lamp exudes the Neoclassical style with a hint of Hollywood Regency. This beautifully designed high column lamp has many details, such as the fluted column and the heavy-duty sturdy square stately base.
Made in the Herda lighting studio in Amsterdam. High-quality lighting was designed and manufactured here manually. This makes these lamps highly sought after and sought after internationally. And they still are, because precisely because of their glamorous appearance, this type of Mid Century lamps from Herda have recently been rediscovered and are currently very popular. This lamp is in excellent and working condition, with beautifully refined age-related patina.
There are some minimal spots on it, not disturbing and appropriate for the age of this desk lamp.

Herda Lighting BV (1946 - 1997) was a Dutch lighting factory founded by the Daniels brothers in 1946 with its main location in Amsterdam and a second branch in Tilburg. Herda worked with some well-known Dutch designers from the studio in Amsterdam, including some top designers such as Willem van Oyen.
