Original vintage pendant lamp by Herda B.V., likely produced in the Netherlands in the 1960s/70s.
The lamp features a thick steel shade with characteristic perforations, finished in a matte, lightly textured lacquer. The design combines steel with a solid wood detail, typical of high-quality Dutch designer lighting from this period.
The perforations are neatly and evenly punched, creating a subtle, atmospheric lighting effect. The lamp features the original plastic ceiling rose with a separate (transparent) cable entry and still bears the original Herda B.V. instruction sticker.
Condition
The lamp is in exceptionally good, near-new condition:
- no dents or deformations
- lacquer in perfect condition
- wood undamaged
- plastic parts not discolored or brittle
Most likely rarely used or carefully stored for years.
A rare, beautifully preserved example of Dutch mid-century design, suitable for both modern and vintage interiors.
