A beautiful small oil painting on laid paper, in the Impressionist style. There are small scratches in the center of the work (see photos).
Signed on the reverse of the paper with an inscription in ink: "Painted by my father, Henri Rosier 1854-1921. M. Rosier... at the end of the ponds of Ville d'Avray."
Dimensions (visible): W. 17cm x H. 11.5cm.
Framed under glass: W. 27.3cm x H. 22cm x 1.6cm thick.
This painting depicts a landscape dear to the painter Camille Corot (1796-1875), who lived near the ponds of Ville-d'Avray and painted many works there.
