Beautiful small oil painting on laid paper, in the Impressionist style. Minor scratches in the center of the work (see photos).
Signed on the back of the paper with an ink inscription: "Painted by my father, Henri Rosier 1854-1921. M. Rosier. ... at the end of the ponds of Ville d'Avray."

This painting depicts a landscape dear to the painter Camille Corot (1796-1875), who lived near the ponds of Ville-d'Avray and painted many works there.
