Drexler, who trained under Wilhelm Wagenfeld and was shaped by the Ulm School of Design (*Hochschule für Gestaltung Ulm*), brought a clarity of form and a distinctly architectural sensibility to his work. The *Platinnebel* (“platinum mist”) series is among his most arresting contributions—each vessel rendered in **glossy jet-black Porcelaine Noire**, its surface bisected by a sharply geometric, **hand-applied platinum foil motif**. The contrast evokes both Art Deco elegance and the precision minimalism of 1980s high design.
