This Super cool table lamp Cobra, designed by Harvey Guzzini and manufactured by Guzzini in Italy around 1960. The piece is made of plexiglass, a material iconic to Guzzini's style and perfectly represents mid-century Italy. The chromed metal arm that separates the base and shade is a fantastic addition that gives the piece a particularly modern touch. When lit, the white plastic diffuses the light very nicely, adding to the unique appeal of this lamp. The lamp is in good vintage condition with light wear that comes with age and use. The shade has minor heat buildup, see last photo.

Guzzini illuminazione was founded in June 1958 by Raimondo Guzzini (born 1928) under the name Harvey. Harvey is derived from the famous 1950 film "Harvey" starring James Stuart and the invisible rabbit Harvey.
The initial production of enameled copper items was supplemented by decorative fixtures.
It became a family business in the early 1960s when its 5 brothers joined the company.
In 1962, Luigi Massoni was brought in to lead the design team. He worked for Fratelli Guzzini and Harvey Guzzini until 1976. Luigi Massoni designed many iconic lamps during that period.
The company still exists today, changing its name to iGuzzini in 1974 and iGuzzini illuminazione in 1981.
Possibly by arrangement if you are on my route to bring.
Considering the age of this lamp, it is in perfect condition. Shade has slight heating distortion.
