An exceptionally elegant designer armchair! In the 1950s and 60s, German designer Hartmut Lohmeyer designed a series of very fine furniture pieces. These pieces, mostly brought to market by the Wilkhahn company, are now considered true German Design Classics. Not only in their homeland, but all over the world, these models are now known and loved by enthusiasts. They praise the design itself, which possesses phenomenal elegance; it is striking that not a single line is out of place or superfluous—Mid-Century Design at its very best! The use of materials is also very beautiful: solid teak wood as the base and a very beautiful seating area on top; the model also offers a very high level of seating comfort.
