He has been making art since 1990. First with subject Kenya. He paints people but also masks, shields and woodcarvings.
In 1991 he went to Aruba and was soon captivated by the carvings there.
In 1992 he went to Jamaica, the Rastafari with their huge hairdos were a new source of inspiration, which he has long used as a theme for his paintings.
Today he uses a lot of color in his works sometimes relief, canvases with layers of paint and regularly, additions such as cardboard, paper, wood, rope, steel, nails and glass.
One characteristic recurring subject
is "his" bird, colorful and cheerful!
