This Harco Loor Design UFO pendant lamp is a distinctive lighting object from the late 1970s. The design combines a clear glass disc with a perforated metal dome, resulting in a striking silhouette that reflects the aesthetics of the Space Age era. The lamp is crafted from glass and metal, featuring a black and transparent color scheme that seamlessly integrates into various interiors. The fixture has a diameter of approximately 30 centimeters and a height of approximately 13 centimeters, excluding the ceiling rose and cord. The design is suitable for halogen lighting and is therefore dimmable, but also functions with modern LED light sources via the same fitting. The object is in good, functional condition, retaining its original character. The construction is solid, and the original brand name is visible on the ceiling rose. A small chip is visible on the glass disc (see photo). This pendant lamp is perfectly suited above a dining table or in a hallway, where it provides both functional light and an architectural accent. The design fits particularly well within vintage, eclectic, or modernist interior styles.
