For sale is a beautiful lidded box/bonbonnière/lidded box. It was designed by Hans Przyrembel around 1930 and later produced in the Brandt-Lipovec workshop. Elegant construction in brass, partly copper, with a hoop-shaped base and a lid with a knob, hammered finish, partially patinated, and stamped on the underside with the monogram "B" "P" and "Handarbeit" (handmade). Dimensions: diameter approx. 16.5 cm, height approx. 16 cm.
Hans Przyrembel (1900-1945) was a German metal artist, goldsmith, and silversmith. He collaborated with many Bauhaus artists, including Marianne Brandt and Alfred Lipovec.
The box is in age-appropriate condition with signs of age and use (scratches, abrasions, some light residue, oxidation, and a few minor deformations). Please also refer to the photos for the condition. They are part of the item description.
