For sale is a beautiful, original Danish dining room set by Hans Olsen for Frem Røjle, Denmark, consisting of a round, extendable dining table and six matching chairs. The characteristic "Roundette" set is a classic of Danish mid-century design and impresses with its elegant, space-saving construction: the six chairs can be completely pushed under the table when not in use. When extended, the table comfortably seats six people. The table bears the original "Frem Røjle – Made in Denmark" mark. Table dimensions: Diameter (closed): approx. 106 cm; Extended: approx. 159 cm; Width: approx. 106 cm; Height: approx. 73.5 cm. Chairs: 6; Seat height: approx. 45 cm. Condition: The set is in good, well-maintained, and sturdy vintage condition overall. The table extends smoothly, and the mechanism functions perfectly. The furniture shows minor signs of wear and light scratches commensurate with its age. The six seats were reupholstered in leather in the 1980s. Therefore, the upholstery is no longer the original factory covering, which I mention explicitly for the sake of completeness. However, the leather covers are part of the set's history and lend it a beautiful, timeless character. One chair has a dent/sign of wear. All six chairs are sturdy and fully functional. Overall, this is a very beautiful, complete set with authentic patina and the sought-after combination of table and six matching chairs.
