Description:
Hans Eichenberger was a Swiss architect and designer. His work as a furniture designer comprises approximately 35 chairs and armchairs. Some of these are featured in renowned collections such as the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, the Museum für Gestaltung (Museum of Design) in Zurich, and the Vitra Design Museum in Weil am Rhein. For his outstanding contribution to Swiss design history, Eichenberger received the Swiss Grand Prix Design in 2016 at the age of 90.
One of his most important works is the HE-103 chair offered here, dating from 1955. The design received the "Die Gute Form" (Good Design) award in 1962.
