A very elegant pair of vintage Scandinavian pendant lights designed by Hans-Agne Jakobsson for Markaryd, model T618, made in Sweden around the 1960s.
The shades are made of perforated brass with a white enamel interior, creating a stunning play of light when illuminated. The design is typically Scandinavian with minimalist and organic lines, and the brass retains its beautiful original patina.
The perforations diffuse a soft and warm light, emblematic of Hans-Agne Jakobsson's work.
The height is easily adjustable to suit the desired installation.
Condition
Good vintage condition with signs of wear and a light patina consistent with age. Some marks and minor oxidation are visible (see photos).
