Beautiful 1960s ceiling lamp
Elegantly simple design
This design is attributed to Hans-Agne Jakobsson and the manufacturer Hans-Agne Jakobsson AB, Markaryd.
A rare version of this typical mid-century pendant lamp in copper anodized aluminum!
The pastel blue interior finish is unique - although not original.
The wiring (all electrical components) has also been renewed - it's a bit short, but a visually appealing textile cable, and the white canopy is a standard hardware store product.
The design creates a cozy light.
The onion-shaped lamp body is arranged in slats. They direct the light out of the shade at the sides, thus highlighting the slatted structure of the lamp.
This creates both direct downward light and indirect light.
At the bottom of the lamp is a protruding ring designed to prevent direct glare from the light source. In contrast to the classic HAJ Dome lights, the overlap and shape of the slats on this light appear somewhat more angular, and the openings between the slats are larger.
A concave diffuser ring also completes the bottom of the light.
Functioning flawlessly, with hardly any signs of wear typical of the period - see pictures.
