Product description
This is a hand-woven Caucasian kilim, a traditional flat-woven rug known for its rich history and craftsmanship. The design is characterized by a vibrant, geometric pattern typical of the tribal weaving art from this region. Crafted from wool, the rug displays a multicolored palette with prominent shades of red, blue, and green. The dimensions are generous, making it a striking piece for larger spaces. The flat-weaving technique ensures a durable and reversible surface, which benefits the rug's longevity. The kilim is in very good condition, commensurate with its age and use, although there are two small holes that have been repaired (see photo 6). It has retained an authentic character, which contributes to the charm of this antique piece.
