Our vintage rugs, which we find in Iran, come from used Persian rugs that continue their journey after being remodeled and redesigned. Iranian-based designers recycle old handcrafted Persian rugs as raw material for their art. Each rug is carefully selected and undergoes a unique washing and color-neutralizing process. In a creative process, parts of the pile are removed or reduced to create a new design. The rug is then re-dyed in new, captivating colors and patterns. The result is a unique and modern, individual work of art. Naturally, these rugs are vintage, old, and used, and their condition varies accordingly, which is part of the product.
