This handmade sideboard cabinet originates from the Yucatan region of southern Mexico, dating to the late 1950s. The piece features a distinctive mid-century silhouette, characterised by its asymmetrical, sculptural base and clean-lined upper casing.
Crafted from solid wood in a warm brown tone, the cabinet offers practical storage through a combination of a single door compartment with an internal shelf and three stacked drawers. The design incorporates brass-toned hardware, including sleek drawer pulls and an ornate escutcheon on the cabinet door.
