Hand-signed and numbered by Patrick Block: "Gladstone Gander in his most favorite Suit." Limited to one edition of 999 copies, offset portrait printing. Here #37/999. Released in a single edition. Patrick Block (born 1958), along with his wife Shelly, has written more than 90 stories for Donald Duck Adventures etc. Patrick has also drawn stories and covers etc. for Donald Duck magazines and other Disney releases around the world, and his stories have been translated into more than 36 languages. Between 1996 and 1998, Patrick worked closely with Carl Barks on the production of the story, Somewhere In Nowhere, and various jokes and designs for the drawings, which can be seen in the book, The Carl Barks Treasury, among others. In addition to his production of stories and covers and freelance work for the Walt Disney Group, Patrick began using his outstanding artistic skills to create watercolors and oil paintings, continuing Carl Barks' proud tradition of creating Disney art of the very highest quality. The success has been tremendous, and Patrick's oil paintings have already reached selling prices well above $15,000. Never been framed and has been kept in dark archival storage between protective acid-free paper. Photos shown are part of the description.
