Beautiful hand-painted Chinese porcelain decorative plate with a classic Famille Rose decoration. The plate depicts a refined scene of two women in a traditional Chinese garden, surrounded by a richly decorated floral border in turquoise, yellow, pink, and blue.
The reverse features a red Chinese seal mark, presumably from Jingdezhen, China's famous porcelain city. Based on style, finish, and mark, this plate dates from the 20th century (circa 1930-1960).
The plate is entirely hand-painted and makes a beautiful decorative object for the wall, a display cabinet, or as part of a collection of Chinese porcelain.
