This is an authentic hand-knotted Caucasian Kazak rug, crafted by nomads in Anatolia. What makes this antique piece so attractive is the rich tribal pattern and the deep, vibrant colors that reveal a different character from every angle.
The rug is constructed entirely of wool on wool, a traditional technique that ensures a sturdy and durable structure. Measuring 122 by 195 centimeters and approximately half a centimeter thick, it has a pleasant and manageable size. The organic dyes give the rug a lively palette of blue, red, orange, and warm earth tones, typical of the Caucasian weaving tradition.
Given its age, this rug is in good, characterful condition with an authentic patina that reflects the history of the piece. It features some loose threads and 2 small tears on the short side.
The rug has recently undergone a complete professional organic cleaning and is therefore ready for immediate use. Caucasian Kazak rug Nomad Tribal
