Product description
This is an extremely rare vintage statue from 1958.
These large teak elephant sculptures are handcrafted in Indonesia by talented artists.
Weight: 4 kilograms
Dimensions: Height 33 cm, Length 44 cm, Width 16 cm
There are some signs of wear on the torso and side of the statue.
See photos. Otherwise, there is no damage.
This exotic statue features beautifully detailed etchings carved into the wood to meticulously capture the natural folds of the skin, the shape and appearance of the eyes, and details of the ears, torso, legs, tail, and feet. The tusks are not ivory.
