When I found this beauty, it was love at first sight. Little did I know… she’s Polish, just like me 🇵🇱
Her name is Makora—a hand-blown glass vase made in the 1970s by Huta Szkła Krosno, a renowned Polish glass manufacturer established in 1923.
Known for exceptional craftsmanship and bold design, Krosno has long been celebrated for its innovative approach to both functional and decorative glass.
It is a vase but do not fill it with water (mwahaha), it was made to host dried flowers but imho it is perfect as it is, no additions needed..
Its sculptural form and warm tones remind me of amber and Baltic waves—a little piece of home 🌊🧡
Something to be proud of as a Pole, for sure. (Take that, Murano 😉)
