Pendant/Ganglamp, original Amsterdam School. Patinated copper/brass with in pagoda style. Stained (Jaap Gidding, Leerdam period?) yellowish pressed glass in floral patterns.
Shade and ceiling cap with hammered or "pinched" edge finish.
This is a mood creator pure and simple! Such lamps could be found in many a hallway at the beginning of the last century. With a nod to the Amsterdam School style period, this lamp is on and on Dutch design from that time.
This beautiful 6-sided hall lamp is in good, immediately usable condition. Given its age, now 100 years, obviously some signs of use, which are hardly visible.
Features yellowish glass in a repeating floral relief and design in a brass fixture with top.
Inside, the glass is hand-painted and stained in abstract geometric motifs in reddish brown and black. The motifs of the firing are reminiscent of Colenbrander's famous style.

The lamp has been completely refurbished and has contemporary wiring. An LED bulb/peer has been added.
Top shade of lamp section has discoloration/stain on patina. If lamp is hanging this is not visible. Otherwise minimal signs of use.
