Product description
A magnificent pair of classic stools from the 1930s with original upholstery in very good condition. The brick red fabric with white stripes shows minimal signs of wear. The cord supporting the shape of the stools is immaculate and strong. The stools have an unusual, tapered cubist shape. They offer a comfortable seating experience thanks to the springs in the seat, which are also in very good condition.
The well-known architect Jindrich Halabala probably designed these stools for the Czech furniture manufacturer UP Zavody, which realized several of his designs. They were produced in the 1930s.
