This extendable dining table dates from the former Czechoslovakia and is believed to have been produced in the 1950s. It was designed by Jindrich Halabala and produced by UP Zavody. Special detail is the inlaid checkerboard pattern on the top. To extend the table, only a single leaf needs to be opened, the other side automatically slides with it, then the middle section can be unfolded by 45 centimeters. This gives the table a maximum length of 164 centimeters. The whole unit features a new high-gloss finish.
This table is in good vintage condition. Details or defects are reflected in the photos or text.
