This company was already renowned for the quality of its crystal and its expertise in art glass. During this collaboration, Leek, with his clean, avant-garde style, brought a new perspective to the company's traditional techniques, creating works that emphasized the transparency and light effects of crystal. This 1960s collaboration strengthened Orrefors' brand image and made it a full member of the Scandinavian modernist movement.
