Unlike traditional desks that are placed against a wall, this Gunner Nielsen desk features a beautifully crafted back panel. Inside, you'll find an elegant open niche, the perfect place to store your favorite books or display decorative items.
This gives you complete freedom in your layout. You can place this desk in the center of your living room or office. In this way, it elegantly structures the space and remains beautiful from every angle.
Refined Finishes and Practical Storage
Furthermore, the tabletop appears to float above the legs thanks to discreet fixings. This detail adds a great deal of visual lightness. This Gunner Nielsen desk also offers ample storage space. It features two suspended drawer units at the front, each containing three drawers, for a total of six drawers to organize your files.
In addition, the sculpted handles are organic and very smooth to the touch. The wood used is Rio rosewood, a rare material with beautiful, deep reflections and a very pronounced dark grain.
The workshop lovingly restored this vintage piece. We first thoroughly cleaned the wood. Then, we applied a stain to revive the original color. Finally, a matte varnish now protects the surface against everyday stains. In short, this Gunner Nielsen desk is ready for a new life in your home.
