This technique was developed in Israel. Derived from the screen-printing technique, it is characterized by the use of sand mixed with pigments as the basic element. Depending on the texture and color required, the sand is sourced from different deserts. The initial step is to cover the paper or canvas with a layer of silicone and oil to maintain the previously dried sand. The desired design is then screen-printed on this prepared surface. The result is luminous, colorful works in relief.
