This Gruber industrial desk lamp, patented SGDG in France, embodies the functional aesthetic of the 1940s and 1950s. Originally designed for precision work, it is distinguished by its robust silhouette and ingenious integrated magnifying system, reflecting the technical expertise of the era.
Made of metal with a textured gray finish, the lamp rests on a U-shaped base ensuring optimal stability. The articulated arm allows for adjusting the angle of both the light and the magnifying lens as needed. The inscription "GRUBER BTE. SGDG" is molded in relief on the upper casing, attesting to its authenticity and French origin. The original electrical system is present, with a bayonet socket visible inside the reflector.
