This beautiful Timor 69 desk lamp, designed by Louis Kalff for Philips, is a remarkable piece of Mid - Century lighting. Produced between 1970 and 1980, this version features a sleek gray and silver finish and a unique UFO-shaped lampshade with a central hole designed for a mirror lamp. This design not only adds a touch of elegance, but also enhances the functionality and illumination of the lamp. This lamp has had several names during its production. Originally called Major in the early 1970s, the lamp was renamed Timor 69 later in the decade and remained in production until the 1980s. The main difference between the Major and Timor models is that the Timor is grounded. This desk lamp is perfect for collectors or anyone who wants to add a touch of vintage style to their workplace.
