Product description
This is a vintage gravy boat separator made by Christofle of Gallia, France. The silver-plated mid-century modern boat features a mahogany wooden handle. The handle is 5 3/4" long. The boat measures 8 x 4".
Lino Sabattini (1925 - 2016) was one of the most revered Italian silversmiths of the twentieth century. He was a self-taught master who gained great acclaim for his novel silver-plate designs. Renowned for his innovative designs, Sabattini collaborated closely with Gio Ponti and served as director of Christofle's creative workshops for seven years. The collection features timeless pieces, each a testament to Sabattini's ability to blend artistic innovation with functional elegance.
