Product description
The vase was made in the 1960s in Denmark.
A Scandinavian Modern style vase from the 1960s–1970s. Sodium glass with a distinctive ice-like texture (‘ice glass’), characteristic of Scandinavian glassworks such as Riihimäen Lasi, Iittala and Kosta Boda. The cylindrical form with a narrowing and geometric cut at the bottom gives the object a sculptural character. The structural surface beautifully diffuses light, creating a play of reflections typical of mid-century design. A collector's item, decorative and functional at the same time.
Condition: The item is preserved in its original condition, may have minor scratches and normal signs of use.
