Product description
Original Gispen 441 B3 sofa by W.H. Gispen. The sofa was produced by Dutch Originals / Gebroeders van der Stroom. The sofa is upholstered in black leather (Royal; 2009). The leather is somewhat discolored by the sun, but it has a beautiful vintage patina and is still reasonably taut. This type of leather is softer and more comfortable (and was much more expensive) than the Toledo leather still available today. Perhaps an interesting object for a furniture restorer with knowledge of leather treatment.
