Product description
Exceptional vintage Gispen tubular chair, reupholstered with Kvadrat Tonus fabric in bright red. Rectangular Bakelite armrests and black high 'socks'. It was presented as the 'American chair' and was displayed behind a desk or at a conference table, and especially in executive offices. It is documented in the book *Collectie Gispen*, published by the NAI (Netherlands Architecture Institute), see photos 14 through 16.
