A rare and beautiful desk by Giorgetti!
Designed in the 1980s by Umberto Asnago. Asnago, an Italian, learned the tricks of woodworking at a young age. He joined Giorgetti and quickly rose to the position of head of the Design Research department.
His style was characterized by small details such as drawers, unique pen trays, and beautiful woodwork.
This desk is no exception. The wood type is unfortunately unknown, but it is a heavy desk. The drawers need some oiling; there is some dirt and dust under the glass top. There are a few small scratches/dents in the wood here and there, but the desk is in very good condition.
*Desk received from an inheritance. Unfortunately, no receipt is available.
The wood has some dents and minor scratches. There's some dust/lint under the glass panel (which appears to be fixed by design).
Lubricate a few drawers for smoother opening.
Some dust in some fine seams can be removed.
