A luxurious pair of Art Deco armchairs, attributed to Gio Ponti, originally designed for the prestigious Hotel Bristol Merano in Italy.
The armchairs feature low, sculptural armrests and an enveloping, elegant silhouette, reflecting the refined evolution of Italian Art Deco in the early 1950s, where decorative richness meets modern softness and balance.
Made in Italy in the early 1950s, the armchairs rest on slender, tapered brass legs, lending a visual lightness and a refined textural contrast with the upholstery.
