Attention all lovers and collectors of fine craftsmanship! For sale: a magnificent and authentic table lamp, crafted from a vase by the renowned Gien pottery factory.
This is the legendary Vase 517, a highly sought-after vintage model that is no longer in production. At the time, the pottery factory sold the vase unadorned, and customers had it converted into a lamp by a subcontractor (which explains why the hole in the base has obscured the original signature, but the authenticity of the piece and its decoration is undeniable).
Decoration: Peonies, the classic, luminous, floral, and ultra-elegant design from Gien.
Condition: Excellent condition, superb shine of the earthenware and colors.
