Chair 117, designed by Gerrit and his son Wim Rietveld in 1957, was produced by Gispen. The chair is made of aluminum and steel and was first exhibited at Expo '58 in Brussels. This is where the chair gets its name, Mondial. Height: 77 cm. Seat height: 45 cm. Seat depth: 50 cm. The chair has some signs of wear.
