An elegant and highly decorative duo of ceramic vases produced by Fürst Adolf Werkstätten in Bückeburg, Germany. Distinguished by refined craquelé glazes and harmonious proportions, the pair embodies the transition from late Jugendstil to early Art Deco, when German art ceramics increasingly embraced purity of form, subtle surface effects, and influences from East Asian ceramic traditions.
The larger vase presents a graceful baluster silhouette with a softly flaring rim, finished in a delicate pale grey crackle glaze. Its companion adopts a compact spherical form with a broad collar, covered in a warm ivory glaze enriched by fine blush-coloured craquelure.
