Product description
Sculptural lamp base in the shape of a stylized bird.
The lamp was made by Belgian designer Georges Deliège (Liège, 1944). Besides being a painter, he was also a sculptural ceramicist. He graduated from the academy in Liège (1961-1967). Between 1975 and 1995, Deliège mainly worked as a designer of small ceramic sculptures. This lamp base was probably made in this period. This is a rare find.
Artist's signature on the bottom.
Material: ceramic with gold enamel.
Condition: excellent. No chips or discolorations. The lamp has been checked and works with the original plug.
