Dimensions: Height approx. 50 cm & Width: approx. 56 cm
A unique piece of nature,
showcasing the fine geological sediment structure with its lightfast color pigments and the various sand layers and grain sizes.
Depending on the type of light, the colors appear different: warmer under artificial light, with subtle relief shadows depending on the lighting angle, and more delicate in daylight.
Technique/Material: A layer of sand sediment from the Tertiary period (approx. 50 million years old) was solidified layer by layer in the quarry using a special epoxy resin, dried, and cut to a wall-mounted picture format, preserving the beautiful natural geological sediment relief.
Approx. 4 kg, with a solid, load-bearing wall mount, epoxy resin/adhesive, and wire (see photo).
