Armchair attributed to Jan des Bouvrie for Gelderland, Netherlands, 1970s. Model 400, 1970s, swivel armchair with chrome base and dark brown leather, designed by the Dutch designer Jan Antoon des Bouvrie. He was a Dutch interior designer (1942–2020). He designed the chair for the company Gelderland, founded in 1936. The number 840 is located under the base. The dimensions are 95 cm high, 72 cm wide, and 80 cm deep. The seat height is 43 cm and the weight is 9 kg. The chair is in good vintage condition. This piece is attributed to the named designer/maker.
