Set of 2 newly upholstered lounge armchairs. The armchair was designed in the 1950s/60s by Rob Parry for furniture manufacturer Gelderland from the Netherlands. Rob Parry was a student of Gerrit Rietveld.
The chairs are in very good condition, retaining their structural integrity and original character. They are newly upholstered in a nice fabric and new foam.
We bought the chairs in a renowned vintage shop in Antwerp, but have never used them.
The teak frame has some wear on the legs (see pictures).
