The Gispen sofa type 1712, designed by AR Cordemeyer, was launched in 1958 for the “Furniture for a modern interior” collection. The frame of the sofa was available in two different versions; chrome-plated (bench no. 1720) and graphite black lacquered (bench no. 1721). This green Cordemeyer was reintroduced to the market in the 1990s by Dutch Originals (Gispen). The 3-seater sofa can be converted into a sofa bed in no time. This makes the minimalist sofa not only beautiful, but also very functional. The sofa is in very good vintage condition, with hardly any traces of use.
