Gebr. van der Stroom is a Dutch furniture manufacturer specializing in high-quality furniture. The company is best known for its Avanti furniture line, which is often praised for its quality and design.
This series was developed in the 1960s and is very similar in style to its contemporaries, Parry and Spectrum.
We see sharp and clean lines, and a combination of beautiful materials such as a lacquered metal base and beautiful rosewood armrests.

This specific example, from the first owner, has been used to full satisfaction over the years. The frame is still in excellent condition, and the wood has been fully restored and lacquered.
The armchair has a unique character and patina and is ready for immediate use.
The upholstery, including cushions and frame, was completely renewed in 2025 and looks more beautiful than ever. The finest foam, the finest fabric, and the best upholsterers experienced in Dutch design have transformed this armchair into a true work of art.
